Vanderpump Villa Season 2 might take place in a different country, but fans will still notice some familiar faces. Six of Lisa Vanderpump‘s staffers from Season 1 — Hannah Fouch, Marciano Brunette, Gabriella Sanon, Grace Cottrell, Andre Mitchell, and Chef Anthony Bar — were rehired to work at Castello Rosato in Italy last summer along with a slew of equally as dramatic newbies. But this time there is more on the line than simply the guest experience as Vanderpump is offering the hardest-working employee a $30,000 bonus and a full-time job.

First, everyone must learn to put their egos and personal drama aside to make their guests feel right at home in the 12th-century Italian castle. One of the first groups to enter the villa is the #MomTok squad from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives — and they are certainly leaning more sinner than saint during this girls trip. Recently divorced star Layla Taylor ends up straddling and making out with bartender Sam Terry, while a married Demi Engemann captures the attention of Brunette.

“They were ready to go,” Sanon recalled in a recent Zoom interview with DECIDER. “I didn’t expect Mormons to be that horny, honestly. I was like, ‘Whoa, guys. This is a lot.’ Like, welcome to the castle, babe.”

Brunette wouldn’t divulge whether he’s kept in touch with Engemann since their first meeting, though he promised that fans will find out soon enough, likely at the Season 2 reunion.

“I think the main thing about a reunion in general is going to be about speaking your truth,” Brunette said when asked what he’s most excited to hash out. “Everything that we went through together, let it out, get it all out of there. We all have a truth to speak.”

Check out DECIDER’s full interview with the six returning cast members of Vanderpump Villa below.

DECIDER: This season was so good! You guys had major guests when the #MomTok squad showed up. Question for all of you, what did you think of them? Was there anything about them that shocked you?

GABRIELLA SANON: They were ready to go.

HANNAH FOUCH: There was a lot of Diet Cokes.

ANDRE MITCHELL: Yeah, a lot of Diet Cokes and they were – wow.

GABRIELLA: I didn’t expect Mormons to be that horny, honestly. I was like, “Whoa, guys. This is a lot.” Like, welcome to the castle, babe.

ANDRE: What is it called – soaking? I learned about that, too.

Marciano, we saw you getting a little flirty with Demi, a married cast member from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Did you ever try to reach out to her again after she left the castle?

MARCIANO BRUNETTE: That’s something that you’ll have to wait and see for, for sure. I can’t say more than that, but you will see. I promise.

Hannah, Stassi said she saw some of her younger self in you and even sat you down to give you some advice. How much did that moment mean to you?

HANNAH: It means everything to me because she said that we have a dark passenger side to us. But yeah, she gave me great advice and it really helped my experience through the season.

Gabriella, I loved how you were just casually cleaning up around everyone while they were fighting about Stassi’s birthday meltdown. How much of that was actual cleaning and how much of it was just wanting to eavesdrop?

GABRIELLA: Oh, no, no. I was definitely eavesdropping. Like, I need to know what’s happening. What’s the drama? What’s the tea? You know, things needed to get cleaned up. So, I’m like, this is the perfect way to listen in.

Andre, you stuck by Siadi’s side the longest. Now that you’re watching everything back, do you regret that? And what are your current thoughts on his ever-changing accent?

ANDRE: That’s a very loaded question. Do I regret it? I would probably say no, because like I said, I was living in the moment. You’re in the moment, right? But seeing it back, did I learn from it? Absolutely, 100%. I don’t know how he is. I wish him the best. I hope he’s doing good. But the accent, I was a little confused by the accent part because I’m like, if I had an accent, I would be using it every time. I see what it does for the chef. And so that’s why I was confused on why he didn’t use it. And so, yeah, it was a lot for me.

Grace, I was so happy to see you go from Dom to TJ. I know you and TJ kind of agreed that what happened in Italy would stay in Italy at the end. But have you kept in touch since?

GRACE: You’ll have to kind of wait to see but not too much contact. But yeah, I don’t know. I had a lot of fun with him this summer.

GABRIELLA: Va, va, voom.

Anthony, you got to take a break from being chef for a night when Stassi and Beau
offered to make dinner. What were your true, honest thoughts on the meal? And did you give them any tips to improve?

CHEF ANTHONY BAR: My true honest thought was how the kitchen was going to be messy, for sure. That was my thought. But no, I’m actually very easy going when people cook for me and I really appreciate it. Everybody thinks when you’re a chef, you’re very picky. But it’s the opposite. You can make just some pasta with butter and I would be happy with that. Beau and Stassi did, actually, an amazing job. Everything was good and yeah, I was surprised. I was really surprised. And the kitchen was a mess.

Grace, Anthony, and Gabriella, you were the three winners of Lisa’s bonuses. What did you each end up doing with that extra cash?

ANTHONY: There’s never enough cash. It’s still there, it’s still saving for something bigger. Yeah, something bigger is coming my way. Everybody will know about it when it comes. But yeah, still saving for me

GABRIELLA: Same here. Just hired a financial advisor. So, we’re doing the work.

GRACE: It gave me the freedom to make some business decisions that might be coming out soon.

Hannah and Marciano, I was so sad to see you guys go halfway through the season. What did you think of that? Is there anything you would’ve done differently? And do you think Lisa was maybe making a mistake?

HANNAH: Yes, I was very upset because nobody wants to leave and get fired. But I only learned from my mistakes and I am grateful for being fired because it helped me grow as a person. So, yeah, I mean, it is what it is and I can only grow from there.

MARCIANO: Just to piggyback off that a little bit. I just think Lisa at the end of the day, she had to do what she had to do. She’s a boss. We’re at fault. We put her in that position. We never should have put her in that position. Do we both regret it? We both wish we didn’t do that. But at the end of the day, Lisa had to make a business decision and she did what was best for the castle and the rest of the team and we have to stand by that. At the time, we didn’t see it and it was really tough for us and there were some very difficult times that we had after but at the end of the day, I think it worked out best for us.

I was very surprised to see you guys go. I believe there were about six people who got fired. Question for everyone, was there anyone, besides Hannah and Marciano, who were were sad to see go?

GRACE: For me, it felt like justice was served.

GABRIELLA: Yeah, but low-key Bridget was so funny. Because she was just a little, you know, you’re a funny girl, but she – I mean, she probably would have set the castle on fire if she stayed, so it’s probably good that she left.

ANTHONY: I feel like it makes the experience more legit, you know? It’s definitely like, no, when you go to a job and you don’t do your job, you get fired. And also, I feel people who are gonna watch the show understand that we’re not there to jog. We actually have a job to get done. And if you don’t do the job, you go home.

GABRIELLA: Yeah, and I think it’s important to touch on that the people hired are qualified. And sometimes you show up and you think you’re qualified for a job and you’re not cut out for it. And we don’t have time to teach people. So it’s either you’re on it or you’re out.

Right. Do you think some of them maybe just came on for the reality TV aspect of it as opposed to the actual working part of it?

ANTHONY: Of course. Bridget! Bridget! Bridget!

HANNAH: Bridget and Aiden. I think they thought it was fun at all times. Definitely Aiden!

Before we wrap up, I’d love to go around the room and have you each say one thing you’re hoping to address at the reunion.

ANTHONY: I mean, I want to talk to Bridget, for sure, and tell her the reason why she got fired.

HANNAH: I would probably want to talk to Sianna, maybe apologize.

ANDRE: I will want to definitely have a face-to-face interaction with Siadi just to make sure … nah, don’t make sure nothing. Yeah, just have a face-to-face interaction with him.

GRACE: I think I might have a few words for some people. We’ll have to see. I don’t know. It depends how I’m feeling that day.

GABRIELLA: I mean, I feel like Andre and I have stuff to kind of hash out, for sure. And I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s explanations for their actions because it affects the house, essentially. It affects me and my work. So, I would definitely like to hear from the people that have some making up to do.

MARCIANO: I think the main thing about a reunion in general is going to be about speaking your truth. Everything that we went through together, let it out, get it all out of there. We all have a truth to speak. We get it out. But then there’s certain people that maybe want to make amends that you don’t really know about. And I think that’s the biggest thing for at least some of us is about making those amends so we can continue to do this job together going down the road. But I definitely would like to have words with certain people. And depending on how it goes, it’s going to be how I react. We’ll just have to wait and see, though.
